Escape the hustle and bustle of Houston and join us in the beautiful Texas Hill Country for this romantic style shoot at Camp Lucy! The stylist for this shoot, wedding planner Scarlet Rose Events, honored Camp Lucy’s rich history with a delicate color palette of subtle blues, pinks, and creams to complement the gorgeous stonework at Ian’s Chapel (a restored Catholic church imported from Vietnam) and the natural, lush greens of the hill country. Anna Kay Photography brought our shoot to life with its signature style of capturing architecture and creating a soft, inviting atmosphere.

For this shoot, Scarlet Rose Events played up one of the top 2021 wedding trends by diving deep into the details with creative florals. Natural floral elements stunned throughout, starting with the ceremony where the chapel hosted its first hanging installation. Rich but natural blues popped against soft pinks and perfectly complemented the bride’s bouquet and first look.  Our bride’s wedding style featured delicate floral elements from head to toe. Her soft updo by Level 12 Salon featured a flower hair brooch and was accented with drop earrings by local jewelry artisan. The bride stunned in a Monique Lhuillier lace ball gown wedding dress and completed the look with a pair of vintage embroidered ballet flats. Standing next to the beautiful bride, our groom looked sharp in his navy suit with blush accents.

After the ceremony, our bride refreshed her look for the reception with a fun, sophisticated “little white dress, nude pumps, and statement earrings. Level 12 Salon refreshed the bride’s wedding hairstyle to match the look with a tousled yet classy ponytail.

At the reception, the pavilion was adorned with florals cascading from the ceiling, and a unique hanging seating chart installation by Scarlet Rose Events. The wedding tablescape featured accenting arrangements, simple flatware and dishware, and custom place cards. Because no reception is complete without cake and cocktails, Tillie’s mixed up some refreshing cocktails while Sweet Treets Bakery created a picture-perfect wedding cake in blush pink, featuring vintage-inspired rose gold petals. Gorgeous, right? To round out the reception, Scarlet Rose Events chose a fun statement piece: a photo booth and custom backdrop featuring bud vases in the bride’s wedding colors

The delicate details of this shoot embodied the essence of worldly romance in the Texas Hill Country. Keep scrolling to see for yourself just how dreamy this styled wedding shoot turned out!
