Reality TV star, Jordan Kimball, a former contestant on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, met the love of his life, “total rom-com style,” at the LAX airport. Christina, a teacher from Houston, was the one who ultimately stole his heart. They ended up going on a date the same day they met, and after some time, a proposal was in the makes. Jordan booked a photographer on Christmas Eve and planned on proposing during their family photos. The ring arrived just hours before, and Jordan had to drive to FedEx to retrieve it. Overall, his plan worked out, and Christina said yes. “Boy, the look on her face! I got her, literally!” says Jordan.
They decided to make The Wynden the destination for their wedding, with garden-style flowers, lush greenery and crystal chandeliers to bring the indoors outside and vice versa. An elegant 1920’s-inspired wedding was the vision the couple had in mind. “The Wynden is one of the best venues to suit that vision; obviously, I want this to be Christina’s dream day,” says Jordan. One of the couple’s favorite parts about planning their wedding was working with Dream Bouquet and seeing their vision come to life.
On January 15, 2022, the couple pledged their love in an intimate outdoor ceremony with 92 of their loved ones. Classic songs by Elvis, Frank Sinatra and other notable singers played throughout the ceremony, and candles lined the sides of the aisle.
A highlight of the night for Jordan: “Seeing Christina in her wedding dress for the first time as she walked down the aisle, absolutely stunning! I cried my eyes out.”
The evening carried on with the couple toasting with their guests and pouring champagne into a coupe tower, dancing and indulging in a delicious 4-tier cake with raspberry filling made by Susie’s Cakes. When the night came to an end, they made their grand exit through a shower of dazzling sparklers held by their guests and hopped in a vintage limo provided by Monarch British Limousines. The newlyweds plan to make the most of their first year of marriage by traveling the world. “We’ve got several honeymoons set up. We also want to go to Italy; we may end up in Paris this summer. 2022 is our honeymoon…we’re taking the whole year and making the best of it,” says Jordan.
