Gina and Tanner’s traditional Houston wedding was blissful from beginning to end, with the motto “Let’s Start With Forever.”

When Tanner proposed to Gina in the same place they met, Sam Houston State University, it was a perfect example of how the couple strives to “out-love” one another. Gina and Tanner have been inseparable since they were college students, so their relationship came full circle with Tanner’s sweet proposal. Gina says, “As we made our way up the stairs of Austin Hall, I slowly realized that our pathway was covered in white rose petals and candles. Our friends and family were present and patiently waiting for us to make our way to a beautiful arch covered in flowers when Tanner asked me to be his wife. Of course, I said yes!”

Gina and Tanner wed on June 5th, 2022, surrounded by their friends and family, under an altar of greenery and white florals. Contemporary gold chairs and table accents at the reception added a modern touch to the tables decorated with classic white flowers and lush greenery centerpieces.

The most memorable moment of the wedding for Gina was her first dance with Tanner. Her parents surprised her by performing “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole. It was her favorite song her parents used to sing in their piano bar when she was a little girl, and she always dreamt of it for her first dance. Gina says, “My parents were able to rehearse with the band and sing this song live for our first dance, and I will never forget how special that moment was for each of us.”

The Moment kept the evening lively, and the couple danced the night away surrounded by their loved ones.
