Allie and Chad were set up through mutual friends and immediately clicked. After one date, Chad knew that Allie was special.

The couple’s love story started with going to their friends’ weddings almost every weekend. Eventually, Chad realized it was time for them to have their own wedding. Chad proposed to Allie at a sentimental spot in Oklahoma and surprised her with friends and family to celebrate with them. The surprises didn’t stop there; Chad organized a caravan for those who couldn’t attend in person due to Covid restrictions.

The couple wed on an autumn day on October 30, 2021, at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa with an alfresco ceremony overlooking the Colorado River. Allie’s bridesmaids wore prints in green, white and mauve hues, perfectly coordinating with the fresh floral installation at the end of the ceremony aisle.

Allie says the sweetest moment for her was their personalized vows. Hearing Chad pledge his love to her was something she would never forget.

After the nuptials, the celebration continued in both indoor and outdoor spaces, giving guests an opportunity to enjoy the crisp autumn air. White and green colored tablescapes, tall floral centerpieces and petite arrangements dotted the reception spaces. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the venue’s ballroom showcased the rustic hill country views. Tying it all together, a custom monogrammed crest surrounded by florals decorated the dance floor.

Allie changed from her minimal white gown to a flirty satin dress, perfect for singing and dancing the night away. The groom’s favorite memory? Allie joining the live band onstage to sing a tune from the Spice Girls. Chad says, “I just remember her singing directly at me, and it was as if the world had stopped. I will never forget that moment.”

After the celebration concluded, the couple exited under a sparkler arch and zoomed off into the night in a golf cart decorated for the occasion. The bride says, “We wish we could do it all over again and have already talked about doing a vow renewal in 10 years.”
