Sharon and Daniel’s love story is the perfect example of how it is never too late to meet your soulmate and have a fairytale wedding.

Divorced in their 40’s and 50’s, Sharon and Daniel both found it difficult to meet people their age whom they connected with. After connecting on Match.com, they met for a long lunch where they both left feeling fireworks.

The couple’s seven-hour-long second date included a walk on the Woodlands waterway on a rainy and cold day. When Daniel draped his coat on Sharon and turned to kiss her, the bride recalls, “My knees went totally weak, and I texted my best friend, ‘I’m in love!'”

Daniel planned a sweet proposal in Lake Tahoe during Sharon’s birthday trip after six and a half years of dating. Fast forward to June 4, 2022, Sharon and Daniel wed with a celebration in navy, blush, gold and ivory hues. The couple included many personal touches, like the sophisticated blue and gold invitation suite and custom-labeled wine bottles and napkins.

Sharon surprised and thrilled Daniel, a huge Florida Gators fan, with the Gator’s stadium as his groom’s cake. The bride says, “Our dream may have taken 7.5 years, but we haven’t stopped smiling since that day. We are blessed indeed!”
