Soft makeup with a touch of glam was the perfect choice to complement the intimate wedding venue. Elizabeth, the founder of Athena’s Brides, created a brown smokey eye with a hint of shimmer for the bride. Balancing the dramatic eye with a nude pink lip color and natural brow brought a softness to the gorgeous makeup. Elizabeth rounded out the look with a middle part as a nod to current trends, along with pearl accessories.
The bride was stunning in the mermaid lace gown provided by Belle Ame Bridal, designed by Pronovias, the Octavia gown’s sweetheart neckline and exposed back is sensual yet classy, with intricate detailing and delicate embroidery. The cascading veil brought a traditional feel, while dazzling diamonds from Zadok Jewelers completed the bride’s swoon-worthy style.
The historic charm of the downtown Houston venue and the bold red, white and black color scheme combined with the bride’s hair and makeup style created an Old-Hollywood-inspired look that Erika Geier Photography perfectly captured.
