“It all started with a watermelon ring pop…” That’s the story Kayley and Tyler likely are gonna tell their kids one day. And it’s the one we’re telling y’all, right here, right now! The pair’s romance started in high school, with the aforementioned ring-pop “girlfriend proposal,” which eventually led to Tyler giving Kayley a ring of a totally different kind, during a romantic picnic celebrating their anniversary. For their nuptials, they chose chic Washington Heights gem Hughes Manor, which they decked out with hints of rustic blush and gold for the garden wedding ceremony. An intimate group of guests, consisting of close family and friends, enjoyed steak along with chicken and waffles, all provided by beloved Houston caterer Café Natalie. “It was incredible to have so much family surrounding us for our big day,” Kayley says. “One of my favorite parts was wearing a hanky tucked into my garter that belonged to my great grandmother’s great grandmother, which she wore on her own wedding day.” Top photography studio Ama by Aisha captured all the magical moments of their Houston garden wedding. Best wishes to this young couple as they start a new adventure together!
