After three months, she knew he was the one.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Michael planned an intimate and romantic proposal, with dinner and a bouquet of roses waiting for her when she got home from work.<\/p>\n<p>The couple had a grand wedding on November 5, 2022, at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weddingsinhouston.com\/vendor\/bell-tower-on-34th-street\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Bell Tower on 34th<\/a>. The Vietnamese-Taiwanese wedding had the bride in three beautiful dresses, elegant d\u00e9cor in a palette of dusty rose, desert rose, mauve and several traditions, all captured flawlessly by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weddingsinhouston.com\/vendor\/amy-maddox-photography\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amy Maddox Photography<\/a>.\u00a0The traditional lion dance during the cocktail hour was intended to ward off evil spirits and bring blessings for a long and happy marriage. Of the ch\u00e0o b\u00e0n, the bride explains, &#8220;The ch\u00e0o b\u00e0n is an important Vietnamese wedding tradition where the bride and groom greet each table and are met with toasts, more drinking, and monetary gifts for good luck.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The couple set up a special room for dancing to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weddingsinhouston.com\/vendor\/danny-ray-and-the-atlantic-street-band\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band<\/a>.\u00a0The bride says, &#8220;My husband and I went to the top balcony of the room to hide. When the band did the second announcement, we came out and popped confetti cannons into the crowd.
