Nikki and Connor’s elegant black-tie wedding was a timeless vision expertly captured by Erika Geier Photography.<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Nikki and Connor’s love story began in 2017 when their paths crossed at The University of Oklahoma. After exchanges of numerous flirty text messages and phone calls, Nikki took it upon herself to make the first move by asking Connor to escort her to her sorority formal. Sparks flew, and their connection only grew stronger from that unforgettable evening.<\/p>\n

In March of 2022, Connor planned a romantic dinner at a Houston restaurant where the two shared countless memories. Nikki was led to a gazebo lined with red and white rose petals, where Connor expressed his love and got down on one knee. “It was the easiest yes of my life,” the bride says. The surprise continued as their families awaited upstairs to celebrate the future Mr. & Mrs. Sweeney.<\/p>\n

On April 8, 2023, Nikki and Connor pledged their love in an elegant, timeless wedding ceremony captured beautifully by Erika Geier Photography. The couple’s ceremony overflowed with lush greenery and white floral installations, giving their spring wedding a timeless and classic look. “As the moment finally came and the curtains came back to reveal me, Connor and I made eye contact, and the feeling of love overpowered us,” the bride says.<\/p>\n

While guests indulged in signature cocktails handpicked by the bride and groom, Nikki and Connor walked around their reception space privately, admiring the year’s worth of hard work coming together. “As we circled the room laughing and pointing out everything that made our night special to us, we couldn’t help but feel so blessed that this beautiful night was all for us,” the bride says.<\/p>\n

The newlyweds celebrated their nuptials with a glamorous champagne, white and gold reception to commemorate their marriage. Cakes by Gina<\/a> designed a stunning 5-tier white wedding cake for the couple’s big day. The elaborate cake was a work of art adorned with white roses and gold accents, perfectly tying in the reception decor. After an evening of joyous celebration, the couple exited under a shower of rose petals and sparklers.<\/p>\n

The celebration didn’t stop there; Nikki and Connor later jetted to their tropical honeymoon in the Bahamas.<\/p>\n
