In the bustling heart of Uptown Houston, Kaajol and Pruthul pledged their love with a traditional Indian wedding that captured the essence of their rich cultural heritage. Their celebration at The Westin Galleria Houston<\/a>\u00a0was a floral fantasy marked bmarked by tradition and elegance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While navigating their distinct dental and medical school paths, Kaajol and Pruthul’s lives intertwined serendipitously. A crowded cafeteria led Kaajol and her friend to share a table with Pruthul and his companions. What started as a casual lunch conversation, with phone numbers exchanged and countless texts sent, became a lasting connection.<\/span><\/p>\n

The proposal was as romantic as it was unexpected. Pruthul orchestrated a perfect evening that began with a mysterious drive to the park and culminated in a perfect proposal set up. When the blindfold gently lifted, Kaajol found Pruthul kneeling before her against a backdrop of letters spelling out “Marry Me.” The couple celebrated into the evening with an upscale picnic by the water.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The festivities commenced with traditional Pithi and Mehndi ceremonies and a lively Sangeet setting the stage for the main event. The couple’s wedding unfolded on June 10, 2023, in The Westin Galleria Houston’s spacious ballroom. The day began vibrantly with a Baraat procession, full of dance and music, leading to a beautifully adorned Mandap. Here, under a canopy of pastel florals and soft candlelight, Kaajol and Pruthul exchanged vows in a traditional Hindu ceremony.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As the day transitioned into night, the celebration saw a seamless blend of elegance and festivity in the hotel’s grand ballroom. Under the sparkling glow of the hotel’s chandeliers, the tablescapes featured lush greenery, pink blooms, and gold accents. The highlight of the evening was the opening of the dance floor, where the couple danced the night away alongside their loved ones. “It was so special to see how loved we were and how excited everyone was for us,” says the bride.\u00a0Live Painter Rendered Moments<\/a> captured the joyous moments from the couple’s wedding day on canvas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
